CREATIVE: A BOXER'S MATCH CREATIONS

Interesting hobby for this Armenian boxer, Bagrat Grigoryan, who participates in various international competitions representing Kazakhstan.  When he's not boxing in the ring, he's doing another sort of boxing... match boxing using the match sticks from these boxes.

Who knew such big hands could create such amazing, delicate works of art...

Bagrat working out...

Bagrat with his mentor and coach - renowned expert Alexander Morozov.

But after a hard day of working out, Bagrat likes to go home and work out some more but with his matchbox sticks!

A lot of matches means a lot of empty boxes!

Bagrat uses glue and lacquer/varnish...

To make a St. Nicholas Church which is situated on Aktobe he needed 26 days, 34 000 matches, 4 litres of glue and 3 litres of lacquer.

Vases, clocks, pictures and more are given to his friends.
